Thank you Wyoming Hunger Initiative!

This holiday season, the spirit of giving and community thrived in Johnson County, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Wyoming Hunger Initiative. Their gracious gift of $500 enabled the Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends (JC-FFF) to extend a heartwarming gesture to the children participating in our weekend food bag program.

Instead of a traditional meal, JC-FFF chose to collaborate with Dash Inn, a beloved locally owned and operated business in Buffalo. By providing gift certificates to Dash Inn, we aimed to offer these children and their families an opportunity to share a special meal together during the festive season.

Breean Waller, the dedicated Program Coordinator for JC-FFF, beautifully encapsulated the sentiment, stating, “To be able to provide a gift certificate to these kids warms my heart. It is my hope that each of the kids had the opportunity to make happy memories sharing food with their family members.”

The impact of this gesture goes beyond the tangible gift; it symbolizes community support, unity, and the shared belief that every child deserves to experience joy, especially during the holidays.

In conclusion, a sincere thank you to the Wyoming Hunger Initiative for their invaluable support. Your generosity has enriched the lives of many, fostering a sense of community, warmth, and holiday spirit in Johnson County. Here’s to the power of community collaboration and making a difference in the lives of our youth.
