Wyoming Food Bank; a beacon of hope during the holiday season.

A whopping $750 worth of Albertsons gift cards landed in the hands of Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends this holiday season, thanks to the great generosity of the Wyoming Food Bank.  This incredible donation helped make the holiday weekend bags extra special.

The Wyoming Food Bank’s impact extends far beyond Johnson County. Throughout the state, they fight tirelessly against hunger, ensuring that no community is forgotten. They partner with over 160 Hunger Relief Partners, like food pantries and soup kitchens, to distribute food and essentials to those in need.

Their mobile pantries bring food directly to rural areas, making sure everyone has access to fresh, healthy groceries. They even offer educational programs that teach families about healthy eating and budgeting.

Here’s how you can be a part of this incredible work:

  • Donate: Every dollar makes a difference. Visit their website to make a secure online donation or find out about other ways to give.
  • Volunteer: Lend a hand at their warehouse or at a food distribution event. Contact them to find out how you can get involved.
  • Spread the word: Tell your friends and family about the Wyoming Food Bank and their mission to end hunger in Wyoming.

Remember, even a small act of kindness can have a huge impact. Together, we can ensure that every child in Wyoming has access to the nourishment they need to thrive, not just during the holidays, but every day.

Thank you, Wyoming Food Bank, for making a difference in the lives of Johnson County kids and countless others across the state. You are the true heroes of the holiday season!
