We’re excited to share that DJ’s Grocery has kicked off their Fill a Bag Fundraiser for Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends! This wonderful initiative began on August 15th and will run for two weeks, giving our community a simple and effective way to make a difference.
If you’ve been looking for an easy way to support Friends Feeding Friends, DJ’s has you covered. All you need to do is grab a pre-packed food bag at a price point that works for you, and DJ’s will handle the rest! Your contribution will go directly to helping those in need right here in Johnson County.
When Breean Waller, our Program Coordinator, stopped by DJ’s, she was thrilled to see a shopping cart already overflowing with donated food bags. “A big thank you to the checkers at DJ’s,” Breean said, “because they turn it into a fun competition to see who can get the most donations.” One checker proudly pointed to the full cart and said with a smile, “That’s just one afternoon of competition, and I think I’m winning!”
