Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Waverly and Logan from the Food Bank of Wyoming to do our bi-annual site review. During their visit they learned more about our Weekend Food Bag Program as well as made sure we were following all safety procedures required for any facility that stores food onsite. Their visit was an opportunity for them to ask insightful questions, observe our operations, and ensure that our facility is ready for another successful year of serving the community.
The Food Bank of Wyoming plays a vital role in supporting hunger relief across the state. As a central resource, they provide food to over 100 organizations, including food pantries, meal programs, and back pack programs. These efforts help ensure that children, families, and individuals in need have access to nutritious food, especially during weekends when school meals are unavailable. Their commitment to addressing food insecurity in Wyoming is truly inspiring.
It was a pleasure to have Waverly and Logan visit us in person and see firsthand the impact our program has on the Buffalo community. We are incredibly grateful for their service and for the ongoing support the Food Bank of Wyoming provides. The work they do is essential in making sure no one in Wyoming goes hungry, and we are proud to be part of such a meaningful network. We thank you, Food Bank of Wyoming, for all you do!
