A Big Thank You to Buffalo High School’s Student Delivery Teams!

At Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends (JC-FFF), we are continually amazed by the dedication and generosity of our community. Today, we want to shine a spotlight on a group that has been an indispensable part of our operation: the student delivery teams from Buffalo High School (BHS).

Each week, JC-FFF distributes over 130 bags of food to 10 different locations around town. This task is no small feat, involving early mornings and the physical challenge of hauling heavy food tubs. Finding volunteers willing to take on this responsibility has been one of our toughest challenges. But for the past three years, BHS students have stepped up time and again, showing up bright and early on Tuesdays and Thursdays to ensure that food and snacks reach those who need them most.

These student volunteers embody the spirit of service and community. Their willingness to get up early, tackle physically demanding tasks, and contribute their time and energy has made a remarkable difference. They’re not just helping with deliveries—they’re actively supporting families and individuals in our community, ensuring that they have access to nutritious food.

The strength, commitment, and generosity of the BHS students are truly inspiring. Their efforts go beyond mere participation; they are a vital part of our mission, making it possible for us to maintain and expand our services. We are profoundly grateful for their ongoing support and the positive impact they have made over the years.

Thank you, Buffalo High School students, for your incredible dedication and hard work. Your contributions help us feed and support our community, and we are deeply thankful for each and every one of you. Here’s to continuing this journey together and making a difference in the lives of those we serve!
