At Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends (JC-FFF), Wednesday evenings are special—it’s when volunteers from the community gather to fill weekend food bags for local children in need. This week, we were fortunate to have the Krazy Kritters 4H Club join us for this vital task. Their enthusiasm and hard work made the evening a huge success, and we are so grateful for their help!
The kids worked diligently to fill each bag with nutritious items: fresh fruit, soup, crackers, a Beef for Backpacks meat stick, and a fresh package of tortillas. These bags will help ensure that children in our community have healthy meals to sustain them over the weekend when school meals are unavailable.
We are especially proud to include the Beef for Backpacks meat sticks in these bags—a product of the Wyoming Hunger Initiative. This wonderful program brings high-quality Wyoming beef directly to children across the state, providing a crucial source of protein. It’s a fantastic way to ensure that local resources are used to help local kids, and we’re honored to be a part of this initiative.
