This week we give a heartfelt thank you to the Blue Ribbon 4-H Club.
Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends is incredibly grateful to the Blue Ribbon 4-H Club for their hard work and dedication in packing 140 weekend bags for local children in need. Not only did these amazing kids ensure that families will have food on their tables this weekend, but they also helped with cleanup and recycling, demonstrating their commitment to both community and environmental stewardship.
4-H is such an important part of rural life, teaching kids invaluable skills that extend far beyond the farm. Through programs that focus on leadership, responsibility, and community service, 4-H members learn how to contribute to their communities in meaningful ways. Whether it’s raising animals, developing public speaking abilities, or participating in projects like this, 4-H equips young people with the tools they need to succeed and make a difference.
