We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Krazy Kritters 4-H Club for their incredible effort in filling 140 weekend food bags for Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends on Wednesday evening. This large and dedicated group of young volunteers stepped up not only once, but for two consecutive weeks, ensuring that kids in our community have nutritious food to take home over the weekends. Your support has a significant impact, and we couldn’t be more appreciative!
4-H is a cornerstone of rural communities across Wyoming, teaching invaluable life skills to our youth. From leadership and teamwork to hands-on community service, 4-H instills values that resonate deeply, especially here in Johnson County. By taking the time to pack food bags, the Krazy Kritters club members are learning firsthand about the challenges of food insecurity and the importance of supporting others.
For many kids in Wyoming, food insecurity is an all-too-real issue, affecting their ability to grow, learn, and thrive. By participating in projects like this, 4-H members gain a deeper understanding of how they can make a positive difference in their community. This experience goes beyond just filling bags—it’s about developing compassion and a lifelong commitment to service. We’re incredibly grateful for Krazy Kritters’ dedication and the example they set for others.
Thank you again, Krazy Kritters, for your time, hard work, and generosity. Your willingness to volunteer is helping us ensure that no child in Johnson County goes hungry, and we’re proud to work alongside such an inspiring group. Keep up the fantastic work!
