A huge thank you to the amazing team at the Johnson County Health Care Center (JCHC) for their incredible support in filling over 135 weekend food bags for children in need across Johnson County! On Wednesday afternoon, a small but mighty group of three dedicated nurses stepped up to fill these bags, finding a few free moments during their long workdays to give back and help others.
“Nurses give their time, energy and hearts to helping our community members every single day. So, to have them come and volunteer in their spare time is extra special to me,” said Breean Waller, Program Coordinator for JC-FFF.
We are especially grateful to the JCHC Wellness program for being consistent volunteers with Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends for many years now. Their commitment to giving back has made a lasting impact on so many families in our area, and we are honored to work alongside such a caring team.
Thank you, JCHC, for your continued generosity and for helping us fight hunger in our community. Your hard work and dedication make a world of difference!
