This past Wednesday, the Johnson County Health Care Wellness team rolled up their sleeves and filled weekend food bags for Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends — and we couldn’t be more grateful!
Their effort helped ensure that local children will have access to nourishing food over the weekend when school meals aren’t available. Each bag packed by their caring hands makes a difference in a child’s life, and we are so thankful for their time and support.
Living in a rural area like Johnson County has its unique challenges — one of the biggest being access to medical care. Many small communities across Wyoming don’t have a hospital nearby, and families often face long drives to reach essential services. We’re incredibly lucky here in Buffalo to have Johnson County Healthcare Center right in our own backyard. From emergency services to wellness programs and long-term care, their presence offers peace of mind and critical support to residents of all ages.
What makes our local hospital even more special is their commitment to giving back. Whether it’s through filling food bags, hosting wellness initiatives, or simply showing up to support local causes, the team at Johnson County Health Care shows time and time again that they care deeply about the health and well-being of our entire community.
Thank you again to the Wellness team — you are truly making a difference in Johnson County, both inside and outside the hospital walls.
