Following the closure of all schools in Johnson County, Friends Feeding Friends will be making a few changes to its weekly food distribution until classes resume.
Weekend meals for students will be available for pick up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday at Meadowlark Elementary School and Kaycee School. (Weekday lunches provided by the school district can be picked up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at Meadowlark Elementary School and Kaycee School. If you have questions about weekday lunches, please call Ricci Sanders at 620-9206.) If you, your child or a child you know is in need of food on the weekends but is not able to pick up a bag during the allotted time, please call or text Sharon Miller at (619)756-3876 or send an email to info@jc-fff.org.
As we package and deliver meals over the coming weeks, we will be taking extra precautions.
