Volunteers needed!

It’s here! The start of another school year, which means Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends is in need of volunteers to pack and deliver weekend food bags.

Wednesdays are packing days, and deliveries happen on Thursdays and Fridays, depending on the school. Volunteers can choose the time they want to pack on Wednesdays. Packing typically takes less than an hour. (Six to eight people are recommended but not required.) This year we ask that our volunteers wear masks when they are packing and delivering meals.

Sign up online at https://jc-fff.org/sign-up/ or contact Friends Feeding Friends Program Coordinator Sharon Miller at info@jc-fff.org.

Who we are: Johnson County Friends Feeding Friends endeavors to fund and distribute nourishing food to Johnson County children who might otherwise go hungry. We team with Blessings in a Backpack and Food Bank of the Rockies. We also purchase food from local vendors to build healthy, complete meals that can be taken home over the weekend, and be prepared by the students and their families.
