The JCHC Wellness crew shows up once a month to help us fill bags on Wednesday nights. I really enjoy getting to know all of the new volunteers each month. Here is a tidbit of information about JCHC Wellness and how they give to our community.
The JCHC Wellness program aims to improve the overall health and well-being of its participants by providing a range of services and resources. The program includes access to a fitness center, where participants can engage in various exercise programs and activities, such as group fitness classes, personal training sessions, and use of cardio and weight equipment. The fitness center is open to the public and requires a membership fee.
The JCHC Wellness program offers nutrition counseling and education to help participants make healthy food choices and maintain a balanced diet. They also provide stress management resources, such as mindfulness and meditation classes, to help participants manage stress and improve their mental health.
The program also includes educational workshops and events on various health topics, such as diabetes prevention, heart health, and cancer awareness. Participants can also receive health screenings, such as blood pressure checks, cholesterol tests, and body mass index (BMI) measurements, to assess their overall health and identify potential health issues.
Overall, the JCHC Wellness program aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent chronic diseases through education, resources, and support. It is a valuable resource for the residents of Buffalo, Wyoming, and surrounding areas who are looking to improve their health and well-being.
Thank you JCHC Wellness for giving back to the kids of Johnson County. They appreciate you and so do all of us at JC-FFF!
