For those unfamiliar with Friends Feeding Friends, we’re a local organization dedicated to fighting hunger and food insecurity in Johnson County. Every week, we provide shelf stable food to children facing hardships. Weekends can be a particularly daunting time for those struggling to make ends meet. That’s where the weekend bags come in – a lifeline of sustenance and comfort to bridge the gap until the next distribution.
But filling these bags takes time, effort, and resources. And that’s where ANB Bank came in.
